The SKY58093-11 from Skyworks is a Multi-Band Front-End Module that supports 2G/4G/5G NR mobile devices. It has separate 3G/4G/ 5G PA blocks operating in the low bands, a silicon controller containing the MIPI® RFFE® interface, an integrated switched duplexer filter, and a bi-directional coupler. This module has four auxiliary Tx outputs for external filters with four auxiliary TRx ports to support additional bands and four axillary ports for the LNA. It requires a DC supply of 1.8 V and contributes to an extremely low leakage current which maximizes device standby time.
The SKY58093-11 includes the SkyOne® platform, a highly configurable, integrated connectivity solution enabling next-generation mobile devices with advanced wireless architectures. It has RF I/O ports internally matched to 50 Ω, which minimizes the need for external components, and the InGaP/GaAs die & passive components are mounted on a multi-layer laminate substrate, encapsulated in plastic overmold. This FEM is available in a 46-pad LGA package that measures 6 x 5 x 0.7 mm and is suitable for use in multi-band 2G / 4G / 5G NR mobile devices, handsets and smartphone applications.
